The Results Are In...

It's Monday the 15th of July and the results are in...

I've been officially cast as an apostle and a soul girl in Phoenix Theatre Company's September production of 'Jesus Christ Superstar'!

The feelings of relief are so great that I feel like I can breathe again; like I was holding in a deep breath for the past week and I can finally exhale. 

Rehearsals start this evening and I'm so beyond excited to start learning everything about this musical all over again. Jesus Christ Superstar has been one of my favourite shows since I first saw it in 2006, when my sister too played the role of an apostle. I remember watching it and falling in love with the music and choreography, falling head over heels for the story itself. 

I won't deny that it will be a challenge and I know I've fallen out of sync with my body and my motivations since I last performed but I hope these will come back to me as easily as my love for theatre has. 

I can't wait to share this new adventure with you all.
